Phil Robertson made a rare political endorsement on Saturday when he and his wife, Kay, traveled to Idaho to make a fundraising appearance for long-time Republican friend, Lawrence Denny.
Mr. Denny, formerly, the Idaho House Speaker, now wants to be the next Secretary of State and the Robertsons have no problem helping him raise some campaign cash to get his Conservative message out to voters, reports The Idaho Statesman.
Saturday’s event drew thousands of attendees to the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa where Phil Robertson told Conservatives that he, like America’s second President, John Adams, believes America can only be properly run with “religion and morality” as its “indispensible supports.”
